This is a Notice of Intent published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.101(a)(1) requiring the dissemination of information regarding proposed contract actions. This Notice of Intent is for a proposed award of a sole source, firm-fixed price contract, as authorized by FAR 13.106-1(b) and VAAR 819.7008 soliciting from a single SDVOSB. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes.

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 23 intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed price contract to SpecOps Medical Supply, LLC., UEI FY9GN8SSGTU9, 3624 County Road 406, McKinney, TX 75071-4330 for Go System Stimulation equipment to support the VISN 23 VA Healthcare System. VA requires the services/supplies from SpecOps Medical Supply, LLC., because it is in the best interest of the government to solicit these supplies/services from a single SDVOSB with an existing GSA contract.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 339113 and the service code is 6515. The Government understands that SpecOps Medical Supply, LLC. is an SDVOSB that can provide the requested services/supplies.

While this synopsis does not constitute a solicitation, interested vendors may identify their interest and capability to satisfy the requirement, including documentation from the company that such contractor could provide this service as an authorized reseller, authorized dealer or third party.

All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the agency by e-mailing such statement and supporting documentation to Marie Weathers, Contract Specialist, at marie.weathers@va.gov, by 10:00AM Central Time on April 15, 2024. Such documentation will be reviewed solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct the procurement on a competitive basis. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
