(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 -- Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.
This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The solicitation number 36C26225Q1497 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) in conjunction with FAR -- Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures and supplemented with additional information included in this notice.
The Government intends to award a single, Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) award contract. (iii) The provisions and clauses in this document are in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2025-03, January 1, 2025. (iv) This solicitation will be a total Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set Aside, to a business associated with The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code, 339112, and the Small Business Administration s (SBA) size standard of 1,000 employees. (v) The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) seeks to make a procurement for a surgical equipment boom for the Greater Los Angeles VA Healthcare System.
This solicitation is being procured as a brand name or equal IAW 52.211-6 -- Brand Name or Equal. The submissions must meet the following salient characteristics: The submissions must meet the following salient characteristics:
Must: Have a minimum of twelve 3-prong outlets Be compatible with Stryker S-Series surgical boom currently in use at the VAMC Greater Los Angeles Be designed to support anesthesia equipment during electrophysiology (EP) procedures Be able to be mounted by a single common plate on the ceiling Be capable of securely holding and organizing anesthesia tools and/or supplies Include a dedicated shelf that can accommodate a defibrillator Have an electric brake system with the top arm length at least 850mm and the bottom arm length at least 900mm Have a maximum height of 6 2 off the ground and a minimum height of 3 10 off the ground Have a maximum boom radius of 6 Have an integrated cable management system to prevent tangling of cords Have an option for mounting additional accessories such as but not limited to monitors, or additional shelves Be compatible with the Advance CS2 anesthesia machine currently in use at the VAMC Greater Los Angeles Have at least three 20A/123V-5-20R Duplex electrical receptacles Have at least one 20A/125V Duplex electrical receptacle with six outlets Have at least two Blank Plates Have at least one Distribution Bd plate Support real-time monitoring during procedures The information identified above is intended to be descriptive, not restrictive and to indicate the quality and services that will be satisfactory.
It is the responsibility of the interested source to demonstrate to the government that the interested parties can provide the services that fulfill the required specifications. Place of Performance: Greater Los Angeles VA Healthcare System Warehouse 297, 11301 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA, 90073. Period of Performance: Within 90 days of placing order. Provisions 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial and 52.212-2, Evaluation Commercial Items are applicable to this acquisition. Furthermore, Provision 52.212-2 is utilizing the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) on an Acceptable/Unacceptable evaluation process.
