NAICS Code: 339113 Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing engaged in manufacturing surgical appliances and supplies.

Background: The Northern Arizona VA Health Care System (NAVAHCS) located in Prescott, AZ has a requirement for a training full body patient floor based lift. The MaxiMove floor lift is in use in two locations throughout the facility and training is standardized. The loop slings stocked in the facility are compatible with the MaxiMove, reducing increased cost to purchase special items.

Scope: The Arjo MaxiMove full body patient floor-based lift allows the direct care provider to safely assist the patient to transfer from supine to seated position, boost in bed, lift from the floor and prone, which minimize manual handling by the caregiver. The requested equipment has a weight capacity of 500 pounds with an integrated weighing scale and power operated chassis leg abductors which allow for access to patient by fitting around chair legs. The option of the two-point hanger bar allows use of the already in-stock loop slings.

Objectives: The objective of this contract is to procure brand-specific full body patient floor-based lift, the Arjo MaxiMove (Model # KMCLUN) and Spreader Bar (Model # 700-19326-BOX)

(Quantity: 2 each). Our current fleet in the facility is this brand and model.
