This is a SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. It is neither a solicitation announcement nor a request for proposals or quotes and does not obligate the Government to award a contract. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. Responses to this sources sought must be in writing.

The purpose of this sources sought announcement is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential qualified Small Businesses interested and capable of providing the services described below. The priority is to find two or more Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSB).

Documentation of technical expertise must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary functional area expertise and experience to compete for this acquisition. Responses to this notice shall include the following:

(a) company name (b) address (c) point of contact (d) phone, fax, and email (e) DUNS number (f) Cage Code (g) Tax ID Number and (h) must provide a capability statement that addresses the organizations qualifications and ability to perform as a contractor for the work described below.

CONTRACT REQUIREMENTS STATEMENT OF WORK- BISULFITE SEQ PANEL ANALYSIS 1. Introduction The purpose of this request is to acquire DNA analysis services by EpigenDX for Dr. Wong s VA Merit project at the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System (CAVHS) at the JLM Veterans Hospital, 4300 W. 7th Street, Little Rock, AR 72205. This contract shall be effective until all DNA services have been provided, according to the Scope of Work details below.

The samples to be processed and analyzed are de-identified and will not have any VA sensitive information. 2. Scope of Work Contractor s Scope of Work shall include but not be limited to the following:

8500 Targeted Gene Sequencing Analysis Setup Including cost of oligos, multiplex PCR development, validation on DNA controls. sequences. Project assessment: Getting unique gene sequences with annotations from the public database, locate the target sequence, and in silico assay design. This item is not refundable.

Genes: >15 genes.

Panels: Custom panels for EPIC array validation of 88 CpG loci, average 3 loci per gene. 8005 Bisulfite modification. 8022 PCR amplification, QC on BioAnalyzer, and PCR product purification Qty = 6 multiplex PCRs x 20 samples. 8502 Targeted NGS library preparation, including PCR products pooling, QC, library prep, library QC. NextGen Sequencing on S5 530 Chip starting from templating and sequencing. tNGBS data analysis Establish a partner-focused working relationship with all applicable CAVHS personnel.

Throughout the life of this effort, demonstrate improved performance, reliability, and timely service. Maintain the highest level of service consistent with the CAVHS mission. Be able to provide convincing proof that CAVHS is receiving superior products and service at a fair and reasonable price.
