This is currently being performed by Center for Behavioral Health Could you confirm if there is a requirement for residential beds as part of the Community Opiate Substitution Treatment Program (COSTP)? Additionally, is the VA open to expanding services in the future to include options such as residential care or additional Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment modalities? Beds are a separate requirement.

Are there specific requirements for the layout of the methadone dosing area, such as private dosing stations, waiting areas, or designated flow patterns for patient safety and privacy? Should the group therapy room and VA social worker's office be in close proximity to each other or the methadone dosing area for operational efficiency?

There are no specific requirements for layout of stations or proximity of VA staff to them however agree on need for patient safety/privacy and think stations/VA staff would preferably be within same hall/unit/area to facilitate communication between VA staff, Â clinic staff and meeting the veterans. Are there any recommended or required facility floorplan guidelines to ensure compliance and alignment with VA expectations? Please see response above.
