NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 22 intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed-price, contract to 1st American Medical Distributors, Inc. for Maintenance Service for Medrad injections to the Phoenix Veterans Healthcare System, Carl T. Hayden Medical Center located at 650 East Indian School Road, Phoenix, AZ 85012. This contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit from only one source under the authority of FAR 8.405.6 Only One Source.
Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 811210 (Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance) with a small business size standard of $35 million.
THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS The Department of Veterans Affairs, Phoenix VA Medical Center intends to award a firm fixed price, single source purchase order to 1st American Medical Distributors, Inc. The purpose of the order is to obtain service agreement to provide preventive and repair maintenance for its Medrad contrast media injectors.
A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not be responsible for any costs associated with the preparation of responses to this notification.
