This is a Sources Sought only. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is performing market research to identify companies capable of providing CarePort Intake Online Portal for referral management OR EQUAL. This requirement is for the following health care system location: VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System There is no solicitation document as this time. The NAICS is 513210 with Small Business size of $47M.

Capability statement Salient Characteristics General Online portal to assist clinicians with placing patients into their next level of care quickly, safely, and securely. It provides immediate visibility into the status of a patient who has been referred outside of the VA facility for care and helps to manage incoming and discharged patients 24/7. Intake online portal must allow clinicians to:
Quickly track referral updates, Respond to referrals, Review patient information, Communicate with referral sources, View documents of patients who have been referred out for care, and Access the portal from any VA-approved location for flexibility and efficiency of operations.
Distinctive Features - Allows clinicians to view active referrals by referral status (e.g. new, in progress, accepted, booked, and declined). - Allows clinicians to click on a response button to accept, indicate that a decision is pending, decline a request/decision, and to request more information about a patient’s status. - It provides a view of a patient’s demographic, medical, and insurance information on a single screen for ease of use and efficiency. - It provides clinicians with each patient’s information so that referral determinations may be made. - The portal allows messages to be sent to referral sources. - Clinical documentation in the patient’s referral packet is viewable in the portal by clinicians to find out about a patient’s condition or medical requirements.
Technical Specification: - The online portal is supported on Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Firefox, and other browsers. - Software does not need to be installed on any government equipment to be able to use the online portal, and software will not be installed on any government equipment. The subscription for portal access provides patient acceptance functionality along with aggregated intake management.
The aggregated intake management functionality allows for consolidated management of all inbound referral activity at a provider’s organization. Intake provides a single location to manage off-line (or non-electronic) referrals as well as electronic referrals and provides a suite of reports for referral management and tracking DISCLAIMER This Sources Sought notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation.
