Advanced Sterilization Products(ASP) Service Base Plus 4 option years

Special Notice Special Notice Page 2 of 2 Special Notice Page 1 of 2 The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to solicit and negotiate a Sole Source, Firm-Fixed-Price Order with the large business Advanced Sterilization Products Services, Inc. (ASP). The procurement is for a service contract to cover product maintenance, repairs, replacement parts, and technical support of ASP sterilization equipment used to sterilize equipment used for direct patient care.

The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 811210. ASP is the manufacturer and sole supplier of all services and service-related material, including parts. Because the OEM does not have any authorized distributors for this required service, this procurement is limited to one source in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(2) Soliciting from a Single Source, as no other supplies will satisfy the Agency s requirement.

The anticipated award date: January 31, 2025. This requirement is for: Department of Veterans Affairs Roseburg and Eugene VA Medical Centers 913 NW Garden Valley Blvd Roseburg, OR 97471 This notice satisfies the requirement at FAR 5.201(b)(1), to publicize the proposed contract action. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation will be made available. Any responses received will only be considered for the purpose of determining the marketplace for future procurements.

The Government will not pay for information submitted. This will be the only notice of the Government s intent to solicit, negotiate, and award to one source to satisfy this requirement.
