VA Police Radios – VA Walla Walla & Puget Sound, WA THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the item availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 20, is conducting market research to identify potential sources which can provide the following supplies, specifically non-ICOM brand name:
1. Walla Walla VA:
a. Two-way radios and their accessories (batteries, charges, etc.) compatible with existing communication system built of use of existing ICOM two-way radios and equipment. This communication system includes existing infrastructure of transmitter, amplifier, repeater and antenna which are programmed with specific frequencies, encryption codes, and protocols tailored to VA mission requirements. Additional radios must be operable with the existing infrastructure.
b. Brand name or equal items: i. ICOM: F7010S 13 USA (F7010 Pkg), Original ICOM F7010 which includes F7010 5W VHF P25 handheld radio, antenna BP284 lithium ion battery, MB133 belt clip, BC219 charger, BC123sa 51 power supply (25 Qty) ii.
ICOM: FAS83V, ICOM 106-174MHz Antenna (25 Qty) iii.
ICOM: BC219N, ICOM Rapid Charger w/ US Plug (v27) (25 Qty)
2. Puget Sound VAHCS:
a. Two-way radios and their accessories (batteries, charges, etc.) compatible with existing communication system built of use of existing ICOM two-way radios and equipment. Additional radios must be operable with the existing infrastructure and parts on hand.
b. Brand name or equal items: i. ICOM 380-470 1024CH 5W IDAS HH radios (28 Qty) ii. ICOM 380-430MHz antenna(28 Qty) iii. ICOM 7.2v 3210MAH li-ion battery (28 Qty) iv. ICOM rapid charger w/ US plug (18 Qty) v. ICOM 6 unit charger w/ BC157s (2 Qty) vi. ICOM program land mobile mainframes (28 Qty) vii. ICOM Type D trucking license (28 Qty)
3. NAICS Anticipated: 334220, Radio and Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communications Equipment Manufacturing 4. Type of Contract Anticipated:

9/30/2025 6. Notes: Depending on the results of market research and socioeconomic set-aside decision, the appropriate limitation to subcontracting may be incorporated into resulting solicitation/contract.

Any organization responding to this Sources Sought Notice should ensure that its response is complete and sufficiently detailed to allow the Government to determine the organization's qualifications to perform the work.
Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. The Government may or may not issue a solicitation as a result of this announcement. There is no solicitation available at this time.
