J6515 Quantum Heater Cooler with Glycol based solution

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT Subject: Intent to Sole Source IAW 5.301(d)(1) and FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office 20 (NCO 20) on behalf of VISN 20 Northwest Healthcare Network intends to award a one-time firm-fixed price contract to Spectrum Medical Inc., located at 481 Munn Road, Suite 180 Fort Mill SC 29715 to provide a Quantum Heater Cooler with Glycol based solution and its accessories at the Portland VA Medical Center.

This decision is made under the authority of 41 USC §3304(a)(5), as implemented by FAR 6.302-5 (Authorized or Required by Statute). The contract value may be up to $5,000,000. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations, and no solicitation will be made.

Interested parties verified in SAM may express their interest by providing a capabilities statement that includes an authorization/certification letter from the OEM manufacturer/supplier Spectrum Medical Inc., verifying the ability to provide the specific equipment and all accessories in compliance with OEM specifications, not later than the close date of this notification.

The capabilities statement must provide clear and unambiguous evidence to substantiate the capability of the party to provide the required OEM services. The determination not to compete this proposed contract upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered.
