NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT Subject: Intent to Sole Source IAW 5.301(d)(1) and FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office 20 (NCO 20) on behalf of VISN 20 Northwest Healthcare Network intends to award a one-year firm-fixed price contract to SUN NUCLEAR CORP., located at 3275 SUNTREE BLVD MELBOURNE FL, 32940 to provide software license, maintenance, and technical support service at the Puget Sound VA Medical Center.

This decision is made under the authority of 41 USC §3304(a)(5), as implemented by FAR 6.302-5 (Authorized or Required by Statute). The contract value may be up to $5,000,000. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations, and no solicitation will be made.

Interested parties verified in SAM may express their interest by providing a capabilities statement that includes an authorization/certification letter from the OEM manufacturer/supplier SUN NUCLEAR CORP, verifying the ability to provide software license, maintenance, and support services in compliance with OEM specifications, not later than the close date of this notification.

The capabilities statement must provide clear and unambiguous evidence to substantiate the capability of the party to provide the required OEM services. The determination not to compete this proposed contract upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered.
