THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method.
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 20, is conducting market research to identify potential sources which can provide the following in support of the Jonathan M. Wainwright VAMC Jonathan M. Wainwright VAMC has a need for a 125 kVA Three-Phase, On-Line Double Conversion, Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) to be purchased for the computed tomography (CT) scanner at the VHAWWW imaging department.

33.5 Inches Weight: 1,742 Pounds MAINTENANCE NEEDS The UPS will be serviced under the existing CT service contract. No new/additional service contracts will be required to support the UPS. IS TRAINING REQUIRED? No PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS Up to 98% Efficient Lower energy costs and carbon footprint Compact & Reliable Requires either front, top or bottom access, so it can be placed against a wall to minimize footprint. High Performance Filter Protects upstream power supply sources from harmonics and reactive power generated by the loads power. Seismic Certified For environments requiring seismic certification, the P Series UPS is available with an optional OSHPD Certified mounting system which makes the UPS and Battery Cabinet(s) OSHPD Certified.
Nationwide Service Program Factor trained service personnel maximize equipment life. Full Two Year Warranty JUSTIFICATION A reliable UPS is required to ensure the operability and integrity of the CT scanning system. The UPS will function for a full 30 minutes after any power loss, allowing the CT scanner to be properly taken off line in the event of prolonged power outages. Additionally, the UPS will filter the power to the CT scanner preventing damage due to dirty power issues and power fluctuations/loss.
