CT Scan Uninterrupted Power Supply

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method.

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 20, is conducting market research to identify potential sources which can provide the following in support of the Jonathan M. Wainwright VAMC Jonathan M. Wainwright VAMC has a need for a 125 kVA Three-Phase, On-Line Double Conversion, Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) to be purchased for the computed tomography (CT) scanner at the VHAWWW imaging department.

IS TRAINING REQUIRED? Nationwide Service Program Factor trained service personnel maximize equipment life. Full Two Year Warranty JUSTIFICATION A reliable UPS is required to ensure the operability and integrity of the CT scanning system. The UPS will function for a full 30 minutes after any power loss, allowing the CT scanner to be properly taken off line in the event of prolonged power outages. Additionally, the UPS will filter the power to the CT scanner preventing damage due to dirty power issues and power fluctuations/loss.
