The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 20, in support of Roseburg VA Healthcare System, Roseburg, OR is currently requesting information to determine the existence of viable sources capable of providing construction services.

Period of Performance: The intended contract period of performance is for 125 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed.

Description of Services: This project constructs two outdoor structures (pavilions) on the Roseburg VA campus. Project includes installation of rubberized floor over existing concrete pads at the pavilions and rubberized flooring at Bldg 85 courtyard. Project includes site prep for VA furnished exercise equipment and bolt/secure it to the concrete pads. The Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, materials and equipment for this project.

See attached drawings and specifications for further details on this project. The instillation includes, but is not limited to, the following work: Install government purchased outdoor exercise equipment on concrete pads 2 and 3 per manufacturers recommendations. Install one (1) full size pavilion on concrete pads 2 and 3 per manufacturers recommendations. Install poured-in-place rubber surfacing at building 85 patient courtyard per manufacturers recommendations. Install poured-in-place rubber surfacing on concrete pads 2 and 3 per manufacturers recommendations.

NAICS Code: 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction and the small business size standard is $45 million. The Government is not soliciting offers at this time, and it will be the Contracting Officer who will determine which suggested changes are accepted. This is a sources sought notice to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources. A solicitation is not currently available.

Responses: Responses to this request will be considered for the purpose of determining how the requirements will be stated and how the procurement will be conducted. This announcement is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or to award a contract. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow-up information requests.
