Special Notice Special Notice Page 3 of 3 *= Required Field Special Notice Page 1 of 3 The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to solicit and negotiate a Sole Source, Firm-Fixed Price Purchase Order with one source, Medical Graphics Corporation (MGC).

The procurement is for a one year, on-site, full-service maintenance and repair to ensure a variety of MGC pulmonary and cardiac diagnostic systems are kept in proper operating condition, have the latest compatible software and firmware, and are operational and are ready to use on patients. This includes software and firmware updates, all parts and service to properly provide preventative maintenance, diagnostics, phone support, and on-site repairs.

The anticipated award date is April 26, 2024. MGC is the manufacturer of pulmonary function equipment including the Plethysmograph, Metabolic Stress Testing System, Gas Exchange and BreezeSuite HL7 Interface to Electronic Health Records (EHR) for the Federal Government. This procurement will be made under the authority of Title 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1) as implemented under FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.

This notice satisfies the requirement at FAR 5.201(b)(1), to publicize the proposed contract action. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation will be made available. Any responses received will only be considered for the purposes of determining the marketplace for future procurements. The Government will not pay for information submitted. This will be the only notice of the Government s intent to solicit, negotiate and award to one source to satisfy this requirement.
