Roll off Open Trash Container Services PURPOSE: 1.0 INTRODUCTION AND SCOPE 1.1 Overview The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) requires trash compactor services and roll-off open trash container services to ensure the efficient and effective removal and disposal of waste from the James Mountain Inhofe VA Medical Center.

1.2 Scope The contractor shall provide trash compactor services and roll-off open trash container services, including delivery, pick-up, waste disposal, and maintenance of equipment at the James Mountain Inhofe VA Medical Center, located at 440 South Houston Avenue, Tulsa, OK 74105. VA facilities are tobacco-free. No smoking is permitted on VA property. The contractor is responsible for their subcontractor s compliance with this policy.

Tasks and Requirements Trash Compactor Services Delivery and Installation: The contractor shall deliver and install the trash compactor units at the James Mountain Inhofe VA Medical Center.

Maintenance and Repairs: The contractor shall perform routine maintenance, inspections, and any repairs needed to ensure the trash compactors are operating efficiently.

Waste Pickup and Disposal: The contractor shall empty the trash compactors on a scheduled or as-needed basis and dispose of the waste at an authorized disposal facility.

Emergency Services: The contractor shall provide emergency waste removal services within 24 hours of a request.

Roll-Off Open Trash Services Delivery and Placement: The contractor shall deliver roll-off open trash containers to the James Mountain Inhofe VA Medical Center and place them in specified locations.

Waste Pickup and Disposal: The contractor shall pick up and dispose of waste from the roll-off containers on a scheduled or as-needed basis.

Maintenance and Cleaning: The contractor shall ensure the roll-off containers are in good condition and provide cleaning services as necessary.

Emergency Services: The contractor shall provide emergency waste removal services within 24 hours of a request. BRIEF SCOPE OF WORK (This is for information only)

LIMITATIONS OF SUBCONTRACTING: The Limitations of Subcontracting may or may not apply to a resulting solicitation from this Market Research. Vendors are advised to familiarize themselves with Federal Acquisition Regulation parts 19.505(a)(2) and 19.505(b)(1) as it pertains to subcontracting limitations. Vendors are also advised to familiarize themselves with 13 CFR 125.6 and the penalties described in this regulation.
