3. Scope. The microscope will enhance visualization, precision and efficiency in ENT procedures and surgeries ensuring optimal patient outcomes. ENT clinical/surgical microscope to be used by otolaryngologist for diagnostic, procedural and surgical applications in the ears, nose and throat. 4. Specific Tasks. Microscope must be designed for both clinic and operating room use for Ear, Nose and Throat procedures. Must allow for 200mm to at least 300mm focal length.
Must have optical output compatible for viewing on TV monitor via Stryker brand image capture system. USA version / power plug with cable Provides Professional Installation and On-Site Training Must have option for sterile handles and/or sterile drapes and sterile lens cover. Microscope lateral handles Supplies Installation, Training and 1 year Warranty Extension. Must be on wheels Should be made of metal and be able to withstand common hospital disinfectant solutions such as Oxivir Five 16and Sani-Cloth wipes. The size must allow for use in both the clinic and OR setting.
Deliverables: Fully Functional ENT Microscope meeting above specifications User Manual Technical Documentation and Training Materials Set Up and Training Warranty: Lifetime on Optics & Mechanical, 3 Year on electronics including LED One year of Support for equipment 5. Other Pertinent Information or Special Considerations. a. Identification of Possible Follow-on Work. N/A b. Identification of Potential Conflicts of Interest (COI). N/A c. Identification of Non-Disclosure Requirements.
N/A d. Packaging, Packing and Shipping Instructions. Dock to dock delivery to Fort Harrison VA Medical Center Warehouse. e. Inspection and Acceptance Criteria. Vendor s responsibilities: Must ensure compliance with medical device regulations and standards, provide proof of quality assurance and previous successful installation in similar settings, coordinate with facility staff for scheduling delivery, installation and training.
Acceptance Criteria: The ENT microscope must pass functional tests including optical clarity, illumination intensity and maneuverability. Staff must confirm satisfaction with training and operational understanding. Final acceptance will occur after a 30 day trial period during which any issues must be resolved by vendor. 6. Risk Control Equipment will be wiped down with medical grade sanitation wipes between each patient. Should be made of metal and be able to withstand common hospital disinfectant solutions such as Oxivir Five 16 and Sani-Cloth wipes.
