Bathroom Caddy Cleaner | Hillyard Inc Notice of Intent to Sole Source

In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b), this Notice of Intent is to inform all parties the Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19 located at 6162 South Willow Drive Suite 300, Greenwood Village, CO 80111 intends to award a sole source procurement for the following requirement to the small business, Hillyard Inc, located in Kansas City, MO 64180-4921: Item # Description Qty Unity 0001 HIL99247 Bathroom Caddy Trident CC17XPC EER#248299 10 EA 0002 HIL99248 TRIDENT CC17 RECOVER UNIT EER# 248299 10 EA Currently, the Sheridan VAHCS Housekeeping team uses 13 Cleaning Companions for washing walls and cleaning restrooms, patient rooms, as well as similar areas, and all are wearing out.

These wall washing units include cleaning chemical injection to help meet infection control cleaning requirements. The Sheridan VAHCS Housekeeping team already has a contract for Hillyard cleaning chemicals and supplies. This Notice of Intent to Sole Source only seeks to replace the cleaning caddies. Housekeeping seeks to replace 10 Bathroom cleaning cadies which are past end of life and are obsolete.

Responses to this notification will need to meet each of the following requirements: Dimensions, specifications, features, and details about the solution tank for the Hillyard Trident are located at: https://www.hillyard.com/Touchfree-Cleaners/Hillyard-Trident-CC17XPC-Cleaning-Companion-/p/HIL99247. Provide evidence: VA staff will travel to vendor location. Therefore, the unit shall have a warranty repair service and parts source location within a 3-hour drive of Sheridan County Wyoming.

Provide evidence: This replacement includes both the caddy unit and the additional recovery unit. Responses to this notification must account for the functions of both the unit and the recovery unit. Provide evidence: The caddies must have a compatible chemical dispensing system with Hillyard cleaning chemicals. Provide evidence: This action will not be replacing Hillyard dispensing systems at extra cost.

Therefore, replacements should either a) include dispensing systems compatible with Hillyard chemicals, at no extra cost or b) provide caddies compatible with Hillyard dispensing systems. These caddies must be capable of both cleaning and disinfection. The caddies must be for use in bathrooms, shower rooms, and locker rooms. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES.

Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than 1:00 PM Mountain Standard, Friday, April 11, 2025. Information received in response to this notice must clearly demonstrate the capability of meeting the Government s need as stated above. Include any relevant information (specifications, cut sheets, brochures, capability statement, etc.) confirming the ability to supply the products and/or any services outlined in this notice.

A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government is not responsible for any potential costs incurred from interested parties desiring to respond to this notice.
