635 - Blue Phantom & myQA Applications Preventative Maintenance Service and Support (NEW BASE) (VA-25-00009018)

Notice of Intent to Sole Source The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19 intends to solicit and negotiate with IBA DOSIMETRY for the acquisition of BLUE PHANTOM 2 AND MYQA EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE for the Radiation Oncology service at the Oklahoma VA Health Care System.

Determination of this sole source procurement is in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b), Only one source can provide the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized. It is the Government s belief that the proposed candidate is the only provider authorized to perform the maintenance for the equipment listed below, and is the only manufacturer that can meet the agency s needs.

Contractor shall preventative maintenance service and support for Blue Phantom 2 And Myqa Equipment, which includes but is not limited to equipment listed below.

Equipment is located at the Medical Center, 921 NE 13th St, Oklahoma City, OK 73104 Description Brand & Model Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Phantoms IBA Dosimetry Blue Phantom 2 IBA Dosimetry Calibrators IBA Dosimetry DPD-3 IBA Dosimetry Software myQA Applications IBA Dosimetry as well as coverage for other non-VA tagged equipment related to myQA Applications, which includes but is not limited to the following:

WP1D motorized waterphantom incl. CCU with Novotechnic interface Hand-held terminal CCU OmniPro-Accept 6.x myQA Platform myQA FastTrack This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be accepted.

However, any business that believes it can provide Blue Phantom 2 and MyQA Equipment Maintenance may give written notice to the Contract Specialist, Shanta Harrison via email at shanta.harrison@va.gov no later than 4:00 PM MDT on Monday, October 21, 2024. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement.

Responses will be considered by the Government; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The applicable NAICS Code is 811210 and the size standard is $34 million. No telephone requests will be accepted.
