Intent to Sole Source | Sun Nuclear ArcCheck 4D

In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b), this Notice of Intent is to inform all parties the Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19 located at 6162 South Willow Drive Suite 300, Greenwood Village, CO 80111 intends to award a sole source procurement for the following requirement to the Large Business, Sun Nuclear Corp, located at 900 Asbury Avenue, Norfolk, Virginia 23513-2865, United States.

ITEM # DESCRIPTION OF SUPPLIES QTY UNIT OF ISSUE 0001 SNC ARCCHECK 4D DBQA-P 1 EA OKC VAHS staff is currently using various Sun Nuclear systems in the Radiation Oncology, thus a procurement of a backup must be compatible with the current equipment, system, and software at use in the facility.

The Sun Nuclear systems include their Sun Nuclear Morning QA Check Device Check Mate 2 and Daily QA3 daily use for machine warm-up process; Sun Nuclear Arc-Check 4D, Patient plan QA verification used on every patient; Sun Nuclear Map Check, patient Stereotactic Radiosurgery plans (SRS)/ SBRT; and Sun Nuclear IC Profiler to check rotational and FFF beams, shape constancy, and field size shift for FFF beams.

A different system would not be able to interface and work alongside other Sun Nuclear devices used in the facility. The associated North America Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 334516 and the Business Size Standard is 1,000 employees. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES.

Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than 4:00 PM Mountain Standard Time, Friday, July 5th, 2024. Information received in response to this notice must clearly demonstrate the capability of meeting the Government s need as stated above. Include any relevant information (specifications, cut sheets, brochures, capability statement, etc.) confirming the ability to supply the products and/or any services outlined in this notice.

A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government is not responsible for any potential costs incurred from interested parties desiring to respond to this notice.
