Notice of Intent to Sole Source Bioness Integrated Therapy System

In accordance with FAR 8.405-6(a)(2), this Notice of Intent is to inform all parties the Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19 located at 6162 South Willow Drive Suite 300, Greenwood Village, CO 80111 intends to award a sole source procurement for the following requirement to the Woman-Owned Small Business, Tryco, Inc., located at 6736 OLD MCLEAN VILLAGE DRIVE, MCLEAN, VA 22101: ITEM # DESCRIPTION OF SUPPLIES QTY UNIT OF ISSUE 0001 Bioness Integrated Therapy System, 55" Display with Software (P/N BIT-2055) 4 EA 0002 BITS Balance Upgrade (P/N BIT-3155) 4 EA 0003 BITS Extended Warranty 1-Year (P/N BITS-WARRANTY) 8 EA Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center proposes to enter into a firm-fixed contract for Bioness Integrated Therapy Systems (BITS).

BITS is a multi-discipline rehab solution designed to motivate patients and improve clinician efficiency. The system consists of a touchscreen display mounted on a highly versatile and extremely portable stand and is designed to meet the diverse needs of physical, occupational, and speech therapy. BITS is the only FDA-compliant touchscreen-based visuomotor tool available in the therapy market.

Bioness, a Bioventus Rehab Company is the Original Equipment Manufacturer, and Tryco Inc. (WOSB) is the sole authorized distributor for BITS. The associated North America Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 334510 and the Business Size Standard is 1250 employees. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES.

Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than 10:00 AM Mountain Standard Time, Tuesday, February 6, 2024. Information received in response to this notice must clearly demonstrate the capability of meeting the Government s need as stated above. Include any relevant information (specifications, cut sheets, brochures, capability statement, etc.) confirming the ability to supply the products and/or any services outlined in this notice.

A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government is not responsible for any potential costs incurred from interested parties desiring to respond to this notice.
