Intent to Award Sole Source 671-24-200 Elevator Modernization

THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A SOLICATION OR REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 17 (NCO 17), intends to award a sole-source contract, in accordance with 38 U.S.C. 8127(c), VAAR 806.302-570(a) and (c); VAAR 819.7008; and FAR 6.302-5(a)(2)(i) Authorized or Required by Statute.

This contract is intended to be negotiated with and awarded to the following SDVOSB: Elevated Technologies, Inc. 126 Seven Farms Dr. Ste. 160-B Charleston, SC 29492 The scope of work is to repair, replace, upgrade and modernize components to achieve the desired outcome of sustainability/operability and the fully functional performance for the elevators known as P1, P2, P3, P4, S5, S6, and S10. In addition to achieving this objective, the Contractor shall replace proprietary and/or obsolete components which shall comprise of:

motors, controllers, printed circuit boards (PCB) and not limited to solely electronic parts but also hydraulic and mechanical parts. The place of performance is Audie L. Murphy VA Medical Center located at 7400 Merton Minter St. San Antonio, TX 78229. This action will result in a Firm-Fixed Price contract with a period of performance of 770 calendar days; and this acquisition is intended to be awarded no later than 08/30/2024. The NAICS is 236220. The size standard is $45.0 Million. The PSC is Z1DZ.
