NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCEÂ AND SYNOPSIS The Department of Veteran Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 17, San Antonio, TX 78229, intends to negotiate a sole source, Firm-Fixed Price Contract for Remote Automated Laboratory Systems (RALS) to ABBOTT RAPID DIAGNOSTICS INFORMATICS, INC, 2000 HOLIDAY DR STE 500 CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA 22901 in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.2. This acquisition is for the Amarillo VA Health Care System (AVAHCS), located at 6010 Amarillo Blvd., West, Amarillo, TX 79106. . The proposed contract will be awarded on a sole source Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) action to:

ABBOTT RAPID DIAGNOSTICS INFORMATICS, INC CAGE Code: 1RAP7 2000 Holiday DR Charlottesville, Virginia 22901-2899, United States Synopsis Description of Services:Â The contractor shall provide RALS software licensing and interface for Point of Care testing connectivity software that is used to post patient test results to the electronic patient record (Vista/CPRS).

This software allows the end user to monitor tests done at the point of care and to meet numerous accreditation requirements for laboratory tests performed at the Amarillo VA Health Care System (AVAHCS), located at 6010 Amarillo Blvd., West, Amarillo, TX 79106. Software must be compatible with Roche Accuchek Inform II, the Abbott iSTAT and the VA s LIS and electronic patient record system (Vista/CPRS). The software must have the capability to add more instruments as the need arises.

The Technology License includes service, support, updates, and hardware maintenance. The supply of Alere s Informatics RALS Web3 for the use by the AVAHCS is governed by the terms and conditions of the Alere s Informatics RALS Software System and Support Master Agreement. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code that best fits this requirement is 541512, Custom System Design Services.

The NAICS code selected best fits PSC DA10 IT And Telecom - Business Application/Application Development Software as a Service. Small Business Size Standard: $34,000,000.00.

Performance Period: This contract shall be for a base period of 12/31/2024 12/30/2025 and 4 option years spanning 12/31/2025 12/31/2029, FAR Clause 52.217-8 does apply. The software license agreement ensures a continuity of services for this medical center utilizing the server which is already in place. The term of this license agreement shall commence as of the license effective date and shall remain in effect as long as the STS is licensed hereunder.

This sole source requirement is issued under the statutory authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1): For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold (SAT). This notice satisfies the requirement at FAR 5.201(b)(1), requiring publication of the proposed contract action. This notice of intent is not a request for quote and no solicitation shall be made available. IAW FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii) Contractors may submit a capabilities statement or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
