Advantage Plus ADV-1007 and Endodry Cabinet-ADV Preventative Maintenance

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 17, intends to award a Firm Fixed Price, Sole Source contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii) to STERIS CORP, 5960, Heisley Road, Mentor, OH 44060 USA for the procurement of Advantage Plus ADV-1007 and Endodry Cabinet-ADV Preventive Maintenance currently in use at VA North Texas Health Care System 4500 South Lancaster Road 75216-7167 (NTVHCS).

This order for Advantage Plus ADV-1007 and Endodry Cabinet-ADV Preventive Maintenance to be provided for a base plus 4 option years, will be placed on a sole source basis with Steris Corp as the following circumstance in FAR 6.302-1 Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements per 41 USC §3304(a)(1) because Steris Corp Equipment is proprietary and may only be purchased and serviced through Steris Corp. The VA North Texas Health Care System 4500 South Lancaster Road Dallas, TX 75216-7167 currently utilizes Steris Corp Equipment.

The substitution of any other part or unauthorized service personnel other than that from the manufacturer, Steris Corp will void the warranty of the equipment and cause the equipment to not be incompliance with Steris Corp service requirements for Steris Corps products.

POP: Base year: 05/21/2024 05/20/2025 Option year 1: 05/21/2025 05/20/2026 Option year 2: 05/21/2026 05/20/2027 Option year 3: 05/21/2027 05/20/2028 Option year 4: 05/21/2028 05/20/2029 Delivery schedule will be discussed prior to issuing the contract award.

The anticipated award date is May 21, 2024. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes; however, that all responsible sources and interested parties may identify their interest and capability to meet the requirements by submitting technical data for this requirement data within 6 calendar days of this notice posting (no later than May 14, 2024, by 08:00 AM CST, to Angela Kyte and Mariangie Rios Vazquez, via email at angela.kyte@va.gov, CC Mariangie.riosvazquez@va.gov on email which shall be considered by the agency.
