Notice of Intent to Sole Source Pharmacy Staff Training/Competency, Media fill and Glove Fingertip Services

The National Contracting Office No. 16 intends to negotiate a sole source, firm-fixed priced Contract for a period of five years with a small business, Life Scientific, Inc, dba Aseptic Enclosures located at 3720 Hampton Ave Suite 204, Saint Louis, Missouri 63109-1438. The Contractor shall provide Viable Fingertip Sampling services, Media-Fill Testing services, staff competency evaluation and training services, and associated reports in accordance with the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS).

Life Scientific dba Aseptic Enclosures is the only firm deemed capable of fulfilling all areas of the VA s requirements, in particular personnel training and competency assessment for sterile compounding. The Contractor shall provide the required services and associated deliverables in accordance with the Draft PWS to fulfill this requirement for the Overton Brooks VA Medical Center (OBVAMC) located at 510 East Stoner Avenue Shreveport, LA 71101-4243.
