NOI SS: GE HealthCare Mac-Lab AltiX to BT22 Systems Upgrades

This is a Special Notice for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 5.2, Synopsis of Proposed Contract Actions. This announcement constitutes the only Notice of Intent (NOI) to Sole Source (SS) and synopsis of proposed action.

The Department of Veterans Affairs Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center (MEDVAMC) Network Contracting Office (NCO) 16 intends to issue and award a Sole Source type Delivery Order with a period of delivery after receipt of order (ARO) 90days to TrillaMed located at 30100 Telegraph Road, Suite 366, Bingham Farms, MI 48025, for GE HealthCare Mac-Lab AltiX to BT22 Systems Upgrades at the MEDVAMC, located at 2002 Holcombe Boulevard, Houston, TX 77030. It has been determined that through initial Market Research, only 1 (one) responsible SDVOSB source per FAR 19.1406 can provide the required upgrades as identified below.

The statutory authority for this non-competitive acquisition as implemented by FAR 6.302-5(b)(6) Sole source awards under the Veterans Benefits Act of 2003 .

The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 339112, with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees, and the FSC/PSC is 6515. The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to solicit and award IAW FAR 8.004 a sole source firm fixed priced delivery order award against existing VA FSS 36F79720D0041 to provide GE HealthCare Mac-Lab AltiX to BT22 Systems Upgrades.
