?.## STATEMENT OF REQUIREMENT GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The VISN 15 Jefferson Barracks, Saint Louis VA Medical Center, the Nutrition and Food Service Department. VA Nutrition and Food Services (NFS) provides complete nutrition services for America's Veterans. NFS develops evidence-based nutritional services for Veterans and their families at VHA healthcare facilities, ensuring safe, high-quality patient food services. The Invoq Combi oven will enhance our ability to deliver these services.
This cutting-edge kitchen appliance simplifies the latest technologies for easy use. The 10-2/1 GN model features injection steam, smart sensors, and integrated drain and inlet systems for efficient and safe steaming. This allows for the simultaneous cooking of various products, creating an ideal cooking environment. The steam production and automated cleaning system are optimized to conserve energy and water while maintaining high-quality results.
SUPPLIES/ SERVICES: The Nutrition and Food Service Department at the Jefferson Barracks campus will require this new equipment to continue the unimpeded preparation of warm and nutritious meals for the residents. These meals will be prepared on-site using these commercial ovens to do so.
PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: When will the work be done? Monday Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm. Where will the work be performed? Building 60- Jefferson Barracks Campus The contractor needs to provide the personnel to ensure installation and training will be completed per the contract. Does the contractor need to report status updates to anyone in the Nutrition and Food Service department. The contractor will report status updates and maintain contact with the Associate Chief, Nutrition and Food Service.
The contractor will supply the equipment and services as per the quote. Will the contractor be required to meet HAZMAT, OSHA, or federal safety policies or requirements? The contractor will be required to follow VA policies including Coronavirus protection policies. The contractor must supply their masks and PPE necessary to perform their duties at the VAMC.
