Hematologist/Oncologist Physician Services for the Captain James A. Lovell Health Care Center (FHCC) One-Year Contract

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE On behalf of the Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center (FHCC), 3001 Green Bay Road, North Chicago, IL 60064, the Great Lakes Acquisition Center intends to negotiate a sole source one-year contract with Posterity Group LLC for one Board Certified/Board Eligible licensed dually certified Hematology/Oncology Physician.

The physician will provide services for the inpatient clinic Monday through Friday, and telephone consultations during off-tour hours during the evening, weekend and holiday. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 38 USC 8127(c), as implemented by FAR 6.302-5 (authorized or Required by Statute) and the non-competitive (sole source) procedures authorized in VAAR 819.7007.

The resultant contract period of performance will be November 10, 2025 through November 9, 2026. The FHCC has a need for a contractor to provide a dually certified hematology/oncology physician by November 10, 2025, to cover the schedule of a VA physician during a one-year period of military deployment. Posterity Group LLC is the only SDVOSB vendor that is able to meet the needs of the Government.

Posterity Group LLC currently has a physician who has met the minimum requirements, to include the ability to begin working by November 10, 2025. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 561320 Temporary Help Services, with a small business size standard of $34.0 million. This notice is not a request for competitive offers.
