AWARD NOTICE FOR URGENT AND COMPELLING REQUIREMENT. The Innovative Medical Devices Roller Bypass equipment is required to be replaced immediately. This equipment is used during cardiopulmonary bypass surgery and large roller pumps assembly is a critical component part of the bypass pump and must be replaced as a unit. If the Hines VA does have access to this equipment patient care/health is severely at risk.
