Intent to Sole Source - Olympus ORBEYE

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO 12) Great Lakes Acquisition Center anticipates entering a single source procurement with Alliant Enterprises, LLC for an Olympus America, Inc.-brand ORBEYE Surgical Microscope.

This acquisition is conducted under FAR 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items and specifically FAR 13.501 Special Documentation Requirements, where acquisitions conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures are exempt from the requirements of FAR Part 6. Other entities may identify their interest and capability by responding to this requirement no later than 9/6/2024 at 12:00 p.m. CDT.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all interested entities submitting a response to this notice must do so no later than the period specified for consideration. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received because of the notice of intent will normally be considered for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation document is available.
