Description
As published on SAM.gov.
This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government at this time. This notice is intended strictly for market research.
The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of Other than Small Businesses and Small Businesses, including VetCert, Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) or Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) prospective vendors relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 333120 and its small business size standard of 1,250 employees.
The Danville VA Medical Center located in Danville, IL has the requirement for a Soil Conditioner for a Bobcat Skid Steer. The Government is requesting that Other Than Small Businesses and Small Businesses, including VetCert, VOSB or SDVOSB sources Respond if it can meet the description below with a brand name or equal basis.
Description: 7135945 is the part number on a quote from a Bobcat dealer and Bobcat is the skid steer the attachment will be used with to level out the ground. An attachment designed for Bobcat skid steer that is better quality than most, that will stand up to the work required and who will stand behind their equipment with exceptional service work when necessary.
A soil conditioner manufacturer with local representation where any potential warranty work can be done locally on the equipment to make it economically feasible and in case of repairs after warranty has expired can be performed locally.
An attachment that will connect directly to a Bobcat piece of equipment and the piece of equipment is designed and built with Bobcat equipment in mind for functionality, an attachment is needed that will work best and last the longest with the Bobcat skid steer that will be used with it.
A 72" Hydraulic Angle and Depth Soil Conditioner that will use the hydraulics to angle the "harley rake" to the correct angle and depth for multiple applications as well as for ditches and hills that we have throughout the facility. A soil conditioner that is designed with the Bobcat skid steer weight distribution as a factor in the build for safely using it along hills and ditches. We need a unit that is geometrically designed for good visibility for operator while in use.
Comes with proper electrical and hydraulic Bobcat connections to connect to a Bobcat skid steer as this is the equipment we have to use the soil conditioner with. Comes with removable/reversible end plates for windrowing and reverse box raking. Adjustable gauge wheels to allow for skim passes for overseeding or adjust to cut drainage ditches. It needs to fit on a standard-size Bobcat and a 72 is what we need.
T180 is the skid steer, V417 is the telehandler we will potentially be using with this piece of equipment but these pieces of equipment could potentially be replaced in the near future and for this reason is the answer that it will be a standard Bobcat locking plate connection with hydraulic hoses for the Harley rake.
Interested Other Than Small Businesses and Small Businesses including VetCert, and SDVOSBs are required to submit an e-mail delineating: Qualifications, capabilities, and experience for providing this product; Business size/Socioeconomic status; Manufacture location; If the product is on the Federal Supply Schedule or the Open Market; and Memo or correspondence which authorizes distributor to distribute the manufacturer s products (if applicable).
