This is a REQUEST FOR INFORMATION and SOURCES SOUGHT for a PCR System. Contractors that deem themselves capable of meeting the requirement shall provide the below information to Percy Johnson, Contracting Officer, at percy.johnson2@va.gov no-later-than Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at 09:00AM, EDT, referencing (36C25026Q0462). Responses shall include:
(1) Business Name and Address, (2) GSA Contract Number and expiration date, if applicable (3) Point of Contact Name, Phone Number and E-mail Address (4) DUNS and NAICS code (5) Business Size SMALL or LARGE (6) Type of Small Business (if applicable): service disabled veteran owned, veteran owned small business, 8a, HUBZone, woman-owned, etc. (7) A concern that is not a manufacturer of the supply shall provide the manufacturers name and size standard (8) Country of Origin. If the concern is the manufacture and the sole distributor, please provide documentation to that effect. Please see requirements below:
Scope and Equipment Specifications The vendor will provide the QuantStudio 5 Real-Time PCR System with the following specifications: 96-well or 384-well block configuration with fast protocol capability White LED excitation source with OptiFlex technology (6 decoupled channels for 96-well or 5 coupled channels for 384-well format) VeriFlex Block technology with 6 independent temperature zones Integrated touchscreen interface with cloud connectivity Compliance with 21 CFR Part 11 guidelines Completion of 40-cycle runs in under 30 minutes (96-well) or 35 minutes (384-well) Factory calibration for multiple dyes including FAM, SYBR Green, VIC, NED, ABY, JUN, Mustang Purple, TAMRA, Cy5, and ROX Deliverables: Delivery of the QuantStudio 5 Real-Time PCR System to designated laboratory location Installation setup documentation RNase P verification plate for performance verification IT checklist for streamlining internet connectivity Training and Knowledge Transfer Deliverables: Orientation session provided by a trained technical scientist or through eLearning modules User training materials and access to support resources Documentation for system operation and maintenance System Validation and Setup Deliverables: Instrument qualification (IQ), operational qualification (OQ), and instrument performance verification (IPV) services Verification of optical and thermal accuracy Documentation of system performance specifications Reporting Requirements Installation and qualification report Performance verification documentation System specifications and validation documentation Warranty information and service contract details Warranty and Support One-year limited warranty from the date of installation (or 15 months from shipment) Optional post-warranty service contracts with next-business-day on-site repairs Telephone technical support and field applications assistance
