Sources Sought Notice This is a SOURCES SOUGHT request for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government at this time. This notice is intended strictly for market research to assist the VA in determining sources and a solicitation is currently not available.

The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to determine the interest and capability of any contractor to meet the requirements listed below, with an emphasis on service-disabled veteran owned small business (SDVOSB), veteran owned small business (VOSB), and other small business (SB) concerns. This notice does not represent a commitment by the Government to pay for costs incurred in the preparation and submission of information or any other costs incurred as a response to this announcement.

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Regional Procurement Office Central (RPOC), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 10 is seeking sources for Micro PC Acuity Systems for the Cincinnati Veterans Affairs Medical Center (CVAMC) 3200 Vine Street, Cincinnati, OH 45220-2213. The units must be compatible in all aspects (form, fit and function) with existing systems presently installed/performing at the facility.

The following is required for the new acuity systems: CP0LOCVSMICRO Lombart CVS Micro PC Acuity System Quantity of 30 Each SVRAEINSTALLCP Acuity System Installation Quantity of 30 Each The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 339112 Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing, and the Business Size Standard is 1000 Employees. The Product Service Code is 6540 Ophthalmic Instruments, Equipment, and Supplies.

Contractors that are capable of meeting this requirement are asked to provide a response via the email address listed below as well as proof that you are an authorized distributor / reseller / service provider of the requested items.

Any contractor that believes they are capable and desires to claim preference for small business status must be registered with the Small Business Administration (SBA) and meet the requirements of FAR 19.102 Small Business Size Standards and North American Industry Classification System Codes. Any contractor that believes they are capable and desires to claim preference for SDVOSB or VOSB status must be registered with the SBA Veteran Small Business Certification Program (VetCert).
