Emergency Repair Laundry Tunnel Washers Battle Creek Laundry Facility

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veteran Health Indiana, Battle Creek VA Medical Center in accordance with FAR 13.106-1 (b)(1)(i), Urgency intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with R.W. Martin and Sons, Inc., for Emergency Repair Laundry Tunnel Washers Battle Creek Laundry Facility. NAICS 811310 applies, the small business size standard is $12.5 million.

Contractor shall immediately make repairs to main laundry tunnels one (1) and two (2) to restore operation to one downed tunnel and prevent second tunnel failure. April 16, 2025, through June 16, 2025, in strict accordance with all schedules, specifications, terms, conditions and provisions of the contract. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available.

A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received no later than 4:00 pm EDT on April 16, 2025.
