The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 10, in accordance with FAR 6.302.1 (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Olympus Corporation of The Americas of Center Valley, PA for Preventative Maintenance for ophthalmic equipment. NAICS 811210 applies, the small business size standard is $34 Million.
The Contractor shall provide preventive maintenance, emergency maintenance services, technical telephone support, parts, labor, and shipping for endoscopes as detailed in the Performance Work Statement for Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center located 1481 W 10th Street Indianapolis, IN 46202-2803 for the period of May 15, 2025 through May 14, 2026 with two (2) one (1) year options, in strict accordance with all schedules, specifications, terms, conditions and provisions of this contract.
This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received no later than 10:00 am on April 25, 2025.
