Bio-Hazardous Waste Removal Dayton VA Medical Center and Supported CBOCs
36C25025Q0288
Department of Veterans Affairs, 250-Network Contract Office 10. Hazardous Waste Collection.
Awarded
$0.00 obligated so far on USAspending
Description
As published on SAM.gov with the combined synopsis and solicitation of February 21, 2025.
The purpose of this solicitation amendment is to answer questions from industry. (During the Site Visit) it was mentioned that (the station) processed waste in-house at the hospital in the past, however, moving forward they are getting away from doing that completely. With that; could you tell us what the volume estimates were for the Dayton VA main campus on contract 36C25020P1245?
The previous contract had an estimated 60,000 lbs. per year with no breakdowns of waste stream/method, i.e., RMW, Path, etc. In addition, the CBOC locations were estimated at 1 container per month. The current estimates are for 70K lbs. in RMW waste and 20K lbs. in Path waste per year. The current estimates for CBOC locations were up to 15 containers total per year with pickups occurring on an on call basis with an expectation of 1 per month. The additional 3 containers (15-12 = 3) are included on a contingent basis.
The contract, on USAspending
