Bronchoscopes Lease and Maintenance Service John D. Dingell VA Medical Center

SPECIAL NOTICE: Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), John D. Dingell VA Medical Center, 4646 Joh R Rd, Detroit, Michigan, is soliciting and intends to award a firm fixed price contract for Bronchoscopes Lease and Service Maintenance. NAICS Code 811210, size standard $34 Million.

The Government intends, in accordance with FAR 6.302.1 (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements), to negotiate on a sole source basis with Olympus America Inc. (3500 Corporate Parkway, P.O. Box 610, Center Valley, PA18034), for this procurement due to the proprietary nature of the hardware, software, and firmware of this system.

The Contractor shall provide all parts, labor, equipment, materials, supervision, necessary to service the Bronchoscopes Lease and Service Maintenance located at the John D. Dingell VA Medical Center, 4646 John R Rd., Detroit, Michigan, for the period of December 20, 2024 December 19, 2027, in strict accordance with the statement of work, all schedules, and terms and conditions of the resultant contract. No solicitation package is available.

A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received NLT 3:00 Eastern on 09/19/24.
