Intent to Sole Source The Department of Veterans Affairs, SAO Central, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 10, intents to enter into a Sole Source Procurement for Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN), Lipids Emulsion, and Cardioplegia IV Solutions for the LTC Charles S. Kettles VA Medical Center, Pharmacy Services, 2215 Fuller Road, Ann Arbor, Michigan 48105-2303.

In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(2) Soliciting from a Single Source, the Department of Veterans Affairs intent to award an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contract on a Sole Source Basis with the following Contractor: Central Admixture Pharmacy Services, Inc. 18012 Cowan, Suite 250 Irvine, CA 92614-5844 The NAICS Code is 325412, Pharmaceutical Preparation Manufacturing and the Size Standard is 1,300 Employees.

The Contractor shall furnish the facility with patient specific Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN), Lipids Emulsion, and Cardioplegia IV Solutions. The ordering period shall begin on January 05, 2025, and shall expire on January 04, 2026, with four (4) additional Ordering Periods expiring on January 04, 2030, which is based solely on the discretion of the Federal Government.

The Sole Source Rationale is based on the Governments belief that these Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN), Lipids Emulsion, and Cardioplegia IV Solutions that are patient specific with same day delivery service can only be performed by Central Admixture Pharmacy Services, Inc. This is based on the results of a Sources Sought Notice that was posted on SAM.gov and generated one (1) response from Central Admixture Pharmacy Services, Inc. This Notice of Intent is not a Solicitation or Request for Competitive Quotes or Offers.

No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete this request is solely within the discretion of the Federal Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Federal Government. Supporting evidence must be furnished in detail to demonstrate the ability to meet the subject requirements. This information shall be provided at no cost or obligation to the Federal Government.
