MEI PM SVC Contract

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 10, in accordance with FAR 6.302.1 (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Meisytem Inc. of Wood Dale, IL to provide preventive maintenance servicing on three (3) 4 Racer TBA Swift EZ-Line eyeglass edging machines in support of the Richard L Roudebush VA Medical Center s Optical Lab. NAICS 811210 applies and the small business size standard is $34 Million.

The Contractor shall provide annual preventive maintenance servicing on three (3) 4 Racer TBA Swift EZ-Line eyeglass edging machines are operating within manufactures specifications, calibration, and at peak efficiency for VISN 10/12 VA Optical Lab located at 5610 Dividend Road, Indianapolis Indiana 46241 for the period of July 9, 2024 through July 8, 2025, in strict accordance with all schedules, specifications, terms, conditions and provisions of this contract.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received no later than 7:30 am on July 5, 2024.
