Special Notice Special Notice Page 3 of 3 Special Notice The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 10, in accordance with FAR 6.302. intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Quality Air Heating & Cooling, Inc. for Battle Creek BMS Service Contract. NAICS code 238220 applies, the small business size standard is $19 Million.

The contractor shall provide all necessary preventive maintenance service for the Building Management System (BMS) located at Battle Creek VA Medical Center, 5500 Armstrong Rd., Battle Creek, MI 49037 for the period of August 5, 2024, through August 4, 2025, with three (3) one (1) year options, in strict accordance with all schedules, specifications, terms, conditions, and provisions of this contract. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers.

No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received no later than Noon on August 2, 2024.
