Notice of Intent to Sole Source Requirement The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Healthcare System, NCO 10 intends to negotiate a sole source delivery order under FAR Part 13. The VA Medical Center in Ann Arbor, MI will be purchasing a ScriptPro EyeCon Machine w/Accessories and Trade-In equipment, as a Sole Source procurement.

The purchase will include the following items: Quantity Part Number Description 1 EACH 9430 EYECON MODEL 9430 (DOES NOT INCLUDE LABEL IMAGING CAMERA) 1 EACH RP280260 EYECON INTERFACE CONTROLLER 1 EACH FL826975 FIELD SERVICE (PER DIEM) 12 Months SUBSCRIPTION MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION 1 EACH INSTALLATION INSTALLATION 1 EACH TRADE-IN TRADE IN EQUIPMENT (Controller/EyeCon Model) This specific equipment is needed for the following reasons: This Brand Name Only equipment, ScriptPro EyeCon Machine Model 9430, is the only model that will work with the current, VA Owned ScriptPro Medication System.

This system is proprietary, and ALL items can only be provided by the OEM; utilizing any other brand of equipment will nullify all warranties and ScriptPro guarantee of proper operation of their equipment. The risk of disfunction and damage to the existing equipment will put patients at risk of not receiving quality care at the VA facility.

The associated NAICS code for this procurement is 339112. The vendor will be ScriptPro USA, Inc., 5828 Reeds Rd., Mission, KS, 66202. A firm fixed price Delivery Order with no option years is anticipated and shall be awarded. It is the Government's belief that only the proposed candidate possesses the required capabilities to successfully meet this requirement. It is the Government's intention to solicit and negotiate with only this source. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.

It is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government.
