VA Response: An air-cooled type condensing unit is required.

Question:

2 - Condensing Unit Location: Can you find out where the condensing units are located and I need to know the total horizontal and vertical feet of pipe too.

VA Response: The condensing unit will be mounted above the ceiling on top of the cooler. The precise location will have to be determined by the contractor base on access, and position of other MEP (mechanical, electrical, piping) in the space.

Question: 3 - Chamber temperature set point: Can you confirm if this is a 2-8C° Cold Room.

VA Response: The set point will be 2 degrees Celsius.

VA Response: Correct, volumetric temperature uniformity should be +/- 2 degrees Celsius.

Question:

VA Response: I am unaware of any humidity uniformity requirement.

Question:

6 - 100% Mechanical Redundancy: Are they looking for an “A” and “B” systems that are identical to each other for system switchover? Or are they looking for dual circuited evaporators with redundant condensing units?
