Intent to Sole Source Notice: Leica CM3050 S Cryostat preventative maintenance silver service plan

This is an INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE NOTICE. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Malcom Randall VA Medical Center in Gainesville, Florida intends to negotiate a sole source contract for a one (1) year base period and four (4) annual option year periods with Leica Microsystems, Inc., for preventative maintenance service plan on an existing CM3050 S Konfig. Cryostat, located in Brain Rehabilitation Research Center. This service plan will cover repair parts, labor and one (1) visit per year.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any responsible source who believes it can meet the service requirement may submit a capability statement to the contracting office no later than Tuesday, October 22, 2024, 12:00PM, EST. Please include the Interest/capability statements may be sent to rachael.talbott@va.gov. No telephone responses will be accepted. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
