Digital Cable Television Service for the Lt. Col. Luke Weathers, Jr. VA Medical Center

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 09, hereby provides notice of its intent to award a sole source purchase order for Digital Cable Television Service throughout the Lt. Col. Luke Weathers, Jr. VA Medical Center. The Basic Digital Cable will include the minimum programming package of 57 Cable Network channels and 3 local network channels.

The selected provider agrees to provide broad categories of programming described above channel packages or lineups change and maintain our current Digital System for the patient care areas which includes patient bed side Q2Q and wall televisions. The requirement will be sole source to Comcast Government Services LLC. at 11951 Freedom DR STE 900 Reston, VA 20190-5674 This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1 and 13.106-1(b)(1), soliciting from a single source.

The NAICS code is 517111 and has a size standard of $1,500 number of employees for this procurement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement and submit capabilities statement with quotations no later than 11:00 AM EST, September 02, 2024, to:

Responses received will be evaluated; however, any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
