The requirement will be sole-sourced to Steris Instrument Management Services, Inc (Steris IMS), 12229 SW 53rd St Ste 304, Cooper City, FL. 33330. The Robley Rex VA Medical Center requires weekly, on-location repairs and maintenance services of the Steris Instrument Management System. Steris IMS will be able to complete this requirement for the Robley Rex VA Medical Center, Louisville, KY.

Steris IMS is being chosen to fulfill this requirement because the contractor has been found to be a responsible large business via SAM and Fed Data Check. Contractor has quoted the VA with a reasonable price, found acceptable to the requesting service. The overall contract value does not exceed the SAT. This procurement is being conducted under the authority cited at FAR 6.302-5 (Authorized or Required by Statute) and FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) (Soliciting from a single source under SAT).

The NAICS code is 811210 with a size standard of $34 Million Dollars for this procurement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the Adrian.king@va.gov. Responses received will be evaluated; however, any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
