Description

As published on SAM.gov.

GENERAL: James A. Haley Veterans Hospital, 13000 Bruce B. Downs Blvd, Tampa, Florida 33612, has a requirement for an integration system for optical coherence tomography (OCT), fractional flow reserve (FRR) and resting full-cycle ratio (RFR) in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab of Cardiology.

BACKGROUND: The James A Haley VA Medical Center currently runs a Cardiac Catheterization Lab that will soon be expanding to perform transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) procedures. In order to perform these procedures, a need to have OCT, FRR, and RFR is created.

PURPOSE: The cardiac catheterization lab is a specialized facility where minimally invasive tests and advanced cardiac procedures are performed to diagnose and treat cardiovascular diseases. Equipped with advanced imaging technology, the lab allows healthcare providers to assess arterial health and blood flow, often eliminating the need for surgical interventions.

SCOPE: James A. Haley seeks contractors to provide brand name only equipment/software for this requirement. The contractor will be responsible for installing a fully integrated system in the cardiac catheterization lab.
