Notice of contract action: West Palm Beach VA Contracting has issued a sole source, firm fixed price contract using other-than competitive procedures to Hill-Rom, Inc. for the Emergency Procurement of Replacement Umano Medical Mattresses for Umano Medical Beds owned by the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center in order to comply with a Federal Patient Safety Alert AL24-01 Addendum #1 - #3. Estimated value of this acquisition is ~$424,456.00~. This is not a solicitation for quotes.

Information available to the Contracting Officer indicates that Maness Veteran Medical LLC is an authorized SDVOSB distributor to provide the required Umano Medical Mattresses/Equipment Owned by the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center. Responsible sources may submit a capabilities statement which shall be considered by the agency for future procurements but shall in no way bind the agency.

No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this NOCA or any follow-up information requests. All information shall be in writing, sent via email. Responses must be received no later than 12:00pm EST, March 24, 2025.
