Description

As published on SAM.gov.

GENERAL: The James A. Haley Veterans Hospital, located at 13000 Bruce B. Downs Blvd, Tampa, Florida 33612, requires an integration system for optical coherence tomography (OCT), fractional flow reserve (FFR), and resting full-cycle ratio (RFR) for its Cardiac Catheterization Lab.

BACKGROUND: The Cardiac Catheterization Lab at James A. Haley VA Medical Center is expanding to include transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) procedures, necessitating the integration of OCT, FFR, and RFR capabilities.

PURPOSE: The cardiac catheterization lab is a specialized facility where minimally invasive tests and advanced cardiac procedures are performed to diagnose and treat cardiovascular diseases. Equipped with advanced imaging technology, the lab allows healthcare providers to assess arterial health and blood flow, often eliminating the need for surgical interventions.
