The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO 8) is issuing this notice as a means of conducting market research to identify establishments primarily engaged in providing engineering services. The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a one-time service to conduct an inspection, testing and reporting of the boilers, deaerator tank, & condensate tank located at the Lake Baldwin VA Clinic in Orlando, Florida.
The VHA Directive 1810 (1), BOILER AND BOILER PLANT OPERATIONS, assigns useful life expectancy , in years, to the boilers and plant equipment. The Directive requires that retention of certain equipment beyond the useful life expectancy must be based on an engineering evaluation of the reliability, efficiency, and cost effectiveness of continued operation. The results of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement.
The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 541330 Building Inspection Services. The size standard is $25,500,000.00. Provide a tailored capability statement addressing: Qualifications supporting your ability to provide services. List any certifications &/or licenses to be considered. If subcontracting or teaming is anticipated to deliver technical capability, organizations shall address the administrative and management structure of such arrangements as well as the work to be performed by the prime and work to be performed by all subcontractors.
The government will evaluate market information to ascertain potential market capacity to provide services consistent in scope and scale with those described in this notice and otherwise anticipated. BASED ON THE RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE/MARKET RESEARCH, THIS REQUIREMENT MAY BE SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES, SOLE SOURCED, OR PROCURED THROUGH FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding their submissions.
