FY24 Otologic Drill Burs

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. This notice of intent to sole source is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation will be made available. This is a notice of intent to solicit and award a sole source contract under statutory authority 10 USC 2304(c)(1), set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulations 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Orlando VA Healthcare System, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 8, 13800 Veterans Way, Orlando, Florida, 32827, intends to award a firm-fixed price sole source contract for Otologic Drill Burs for VA Caribbean Healthcare System 10 Casia Street, San Juan, PR 00921, United Stated.

This procurement is for a Sole Source Justification in accordance with FAR 13.501(a), where acquisition conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures are exempt from the requirements of FAR Part 6, but still require a justification using the format of FAR 6.303-2. The NAICS code for this procurement is 339112 and the Small Business Administration Size Standard is 1,000 employees. The current FAC is 2024-06 dated 8/29/2024.

This procurement is also being conducted in accordance with procedures in FAR 13.106-1(b) soliciting from a single source. If vendors believe they have the technical capability to meet this specific need, submit a complete technical package, which provides clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the Government s requirement.
