FY25: Preventive and Corrective Maintenance and Repair for Philips high cost / high tech Medical Devises

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Caribbean Healthcare System, Network Contracting Office 8 intends to negotiate a sole source contract under the authority of FAR part 13.106-1(b). The associated NAICS code for this service is 811210 with a size standard of $34M and PSC Code J065.The identified vendor is Philips Medical System Puerto Rico Inc., who is the equipment manufacturer and only authorize service representative.

The service is for the Preventive and Corrective Maintenance for Philips high Cost/ High Tech Medical devices. A service contract for a one (1) base year and four (4) yearly options is anticipated and shall be awarded. Due to the proprietary nature of the equipment, authorized service representative evidence and factory certified field service technician is required to access, troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate the unit IAW manufacturer specifications.
